All his kids dedicate their careers to their father who taught them the art of music from their childhood. Mika and Daler Mehandi have a great fanclub all round the globe only because of their loving father. He was not only a singer but was also the source of inspiration for all the members of his family.
Epilogue:
He was a very down to earth man and lead a simple life all throughout. Even though his sons were making good money he would teach music to kids and earn 4000 rupees happily. He loved to cycle in the lanes of Delhi when his sons could easily afford lavish cars for him. He loved Mika’s voice a lot and was very connected to him as well. He composed many beautiful shabads in his lifetime which were later turned into an album by Daler Mehandi with the inputs of his brothers to pay an ode to their father. Although the album was recorded in the year 1999 it was released on Teacher's Day 2015. The album is dedicated to their father and their present guru - "Sri Guru Granth Sahib" for their countless teachings.
